As a follow-up to last week's reminder of our upload rules, today we introduce new ones regarding remuxes and when to trump then. Our goal is to make the best of their unique slot, by enabling you to replace them with improved, more complete uploads. In addition to the following reasons to trump an existing remux, we will also start enforcing basic naming rules for remuxes from our own members (internals).

    Including named or unnamed chapters from the primary source.
    For concerts, including named chapters.
    Including English or original language subtitles from the primary source.
    Including an additional secondary audio track (e.g. commentaries, relevant alternative mixes, isolated scores, descriptive audio).
    Replacing PCM tracks with their losslessly compressed equivalents.

Filenames of internal remuxes are required to include, after the title and in no particular order or format, the year of original release, the resolution, as well as the video and audio codecs (e.g. The.Thing.1982.1080p.AVC.DTS-HD.MA, or Citizen Kane (1941) 1080p H264 FLAC).


As you've probably noticed, we reached a few days ago our user limit of 40,000. In consequence, we announce that recruitment from other trackers will be put on pause until further notice. Members come and go, so you may still use your invites, just watch out for a slot to free up!
